She is the daughter of Harvey Welker (a Native American father) and Julie Welker (an African-American mom). The father of the family is an engineer while her mother is a realtor. Walker attended school through Germantown Friends School located in Philadelphia's Germantown area where she graduated in 1994. Following her graduation of Harvard College in 1998, she went to Harvard College and earned her bachelor of Arts. Welker is in a relationship with John Hughes a well-known marketing director for Merck at Philadelphia and they have two kids. In 2014 they began having an affair with one other. John her husband is an age difference of four years compared to her. Since their relationship was prosperous, they chose to take the next level.
