Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin is a native of Winnipeg, raised in Wellington and first made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played her role as Flora in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 years old for Best Actress Supporting Actress. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin born July 24 the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. After she responded to an open audition call and was selected for the part, she was cast in the role of Flora McGrath, the daughter of a deaf Scottish piano player who moves to New Zealand in mid-19th-century to be married.
